Mistral renamed Le Chat to Vibe in 2026; it still lives at chat.mistral.ai. Add Orvo as a custom MCP connector and ask about your People, notes and follow-ups in your chats.

Who this is for
People who prefer Mistral’s assistant, including European teams who chose it for data residency, and want their relationship context available in it.
Before you start
A Mistral account at chat.mistral.ai. Adding connectors is reserved to administrators: on Free, Pro and Student plans you are the administrator of your own account; on Team and Enterprise an organisation admin adds the connector.
An Orvo account with web access (the free trial works).
https://www.getorvo.com/api/mcp
Your Orvo MCP server URL.
Add Orvo as a custom MCP connector
On chat.mistral.ai, open Connectors from the side panel.
Click + Add Connector and switch to the Custom MCP Connector tab.
Enter a connector name without spaces, such as orvo, paste https://www.getorvo.com/api/mcp as the Server URL, and optionally add a description.
Click Connect. Mistral detects that Orvo uses sign-in and opens Orvo.
Sign in to Orvo if asked, choose Read only (recommended) or Read and make changes, and click Authorise & Connect.
In a chat, click + (or type /), open Tools and enable the Orvo connector.
On Team and Enterprise plans, admins manage connectors in the Admin Panel under Administration → Connectors, where they can allow Orvo, restrict it to selected tools, or block it per workspace.
Read only, or read and make changes
Mistral signs in through Orvo’s page, where you choose Read only (recommended) or Read and make changes. To switch, remove the connector and add it again.
Mistral pauses for your approval before actions that create, change or delete data (Continue, Always allow or Decline). Under Connectors → My Connectors → Orvo → Functions you can mark individual functions as always allowed; Mistral recommends keeping write functions on manual approval.
Either way, deleting never erases anything: People and notes go to Recently deleted for 30 days, daily limits cap how much an assistant can change, and changes to a person (their profile, tags, notes and linked actions) show in their activity as made via AI assistant. How Orvo keeps you in control.

Troubleshooting
I can’t add a connector
Adding connectors is limited to administrators. On Team and Enterprise plans, ask your organisation admin to add Orvo.
The connector name is rejected
Use a name without spaces or special characters, such as orvo.
Orvo’s tools look out of date
Open the Orvo connector under My Connectors and refresh its tools.
The sign-in page asks me to log in to Orvo first
That’s expected. Sign in with your Orvo account in that browser window and you’ll land on the Connect … to Orvo page. Pick an access level and click Authorise & Connect.
I chose the wrong access level
Disconnect Orvo in your assistant (or sign out of the connector) and connect again. The Orvo sign-in page appears again and you can pick the other option.
Orvo refuses every request although I signed in
Check that your Orvo account is active (trial not expired, subscription current) and that it has web access. The mobile-only plan doesn’t include MCP connections.
“Too many requests” or a daily limit message
Orvo allows about 60 MCP requests a minute per account, so wait a minute and try again. Daily limits on changes reset at midnight UTC.
Official documentation
Menus and plans change. If a step above doesn't match what you see, Mistral AI's own documentation is the source of truth:
Steps last checked against these pages on 10 October 2026. Mistral Vibe (Le Chat) is a product of Mistral AI; Orvo is not affiliated with Mistral AI.
Mistral Vibe (Le Chat) and Orvo: FAQ
Is Mistral Vibe the same as Le Chat?
Yes. Mistral renamed Le Chat to Vibe in 2026. The address is still chat.mistral.ai, and custom MCP connectors work the same way.
Does it work on the free Mistral plan?
Yes. On Free, Pro and Student plans you are the administrator of your own account, so you can add Orvo yourself.
Can the assistant read my emails or calendar through Orvo?
No. The Orvo MCP server works with your People, notes, actions, opportunities, tags, groups and relationship insights. Synced emails and calendar events are not exposed, and it can’t send messages.
What happens to things the assistant deletes?
They go to Recently deleted in Orvo, with their notes and actions, and can be restored for 30 days. Deleting is only possible on a connection you set to “Read and make changes”.
